Also i think our sense of prefect we expect from people has shifted these days. Perfect does not mean being 100% philosophical, that its ok if the occasional F-bomb slips, or that some social taboos are no longer as taboo as we thought. That shift is allowing us to see what contributes to progress and what is just motion.
