Hi Kelly -- one asterick on the free online content. It does not always "graduate" you from one level to the next like a college course. I think this is a byproduct of the courses and material aimed at developers. I can learn Python and then maybe debugging, but the order on YouTube is more fragmented. That can be helpful for spot knowledge -- this is how I organize my learning of websites and analytics early on -- but the material depending on subject still needs to be vetted a bit.

I know Stanford and MIT started online courses, many for free, but these can be more outtakes than structured knowledge needed for problem solving or structuring steps according to a given instance. People must vet the information they have to know if the free stuff is truly of value.
