How to Use The cryptoQuotes Library in R Programming

I earlier wrote two posts about extracting stock price information and inserting them into R programming. But no discussion of financial assets would be complete without a quick look at the cryptocurrency trend. Cryptocurrency still draws a high amount of investment interest, despite the FTX debacle that has cast a huge shadow over the trading aspects of crypto.

Pulling market data on crypto is just as important as pulling stock market data for creating statistical analysis.

Enter the cryptoQuotes library, a R programming library containing high-level API functions to extract cryptocurrency OHLC market data from major centralized exchanges.

The library is currently on version 1.0, released just in December, and combines the libraries httr2, xts, and zoo to deliver the function objects and charts. Its objects are compatible with quantmod and TTR, according to the GitHub repository hosting the cryptoQuotes library. Let's look at how to use this library in R programming.
