Claude is proving to be a programmer’s darling among the AI assistants. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other have been formidable in gaining developer interest. But Claude’s Artifact feature seems to be the most handy so far among the non-IDE AI assistants.

I recorded a video for IT ProToday. I am posting it here so you can see how Claude Artifacts can be used. Artifacts is simply a second window document that displays any media that is typically requested in a prompt. That means prompts that ask for a flowchart, a mindmap, or a programming code appears in the Artifact window next to the response window.

Artifacts has a few additional features, such as a download so you can transfer a code segment created into a script in an IDE.

Watch the video, and share your suggestions — I record data science and data model videos for IT Pro Today, so any feedback is welcome to provide even more information for you.
