Great read. But I am not 100% certain I would count Siri out just yet. The current applications of AI are just a variation of what Alexa and Siri have been doing for a while, albeit with a broader and compelling content creation from the prompt. Many new AI tools are being formed with a smaller LLM and more focused database than what ChatGPT was trained on. This introduces room for specialized LLMs. Now there's a terrific argument that specialized LLMs will take Siri and Alexa out, but both products have been on the market so long that they will likely be updated to a specialized LLM. The only thing that may take Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant out is if Apple, Amazon, and Google decide to not invest in AI-infused updates. In this market, it's hard to overlook ways to add AI to any software. Plus those names have brand recognition so it would be hard to eliminate (Google Assistant maybe not, but definitely Alexa and Siri)
