On number 9 I would add create your own blog images - I keep a stash of screenshots and pictures from things I see along the way. Doing this gives me a few ideas to use. I will add that i write more technical articles, so screenshots are usually of software or ideas that I am sharing already in my business. But writers of all interest can do the same.
